Our Theatre
Enigma Theatre Company is a multicultural theatre based in Dublin founded in July 2013 by Karolina Szemerda. Our team includes Polish, French and Irish – a collection of talented and highly ambitious individuals, all with professional creative achievements in theatre. In a fully professional way we strive to stage new or overlooked plays that challenge our assumptions, widen our perspectives and rattle our prejudices. Through our intercultural practice, we explore the issues of cultural alienation, conflicting desires to belong, identity, mental health issues and trauma. We make exceptional theatre and present theatre artists of international stature in avant-garde, alternative and unconventional works.
